BLACK MASTERBATCH - PET/ PBT MASTERBATCH
BLACK MASTERBATCH – PET/ PBT MASTERBATCH
For Cotton Type Fiber & Polyester Filament Yarn (FDY, DTY, POY)
Product Overview
Our Polyester-Based Black Masterbatch is specifically engineered for high-performance fiber and filament applications, including cotton-type polyester fibers, FDY, DTY, and POY yarns.
The formulation is based on PET resin with a liquid solvent black pigment, ensuring deep jet-black coloration, excellent dispersion, and thermal stability during melt spinning and fiber extrusion processes.
Composition & Technical Structure
Application Fields
- Cotton-Type Polyester Fiber (staple fiber for spinning)
- Filament Yarn Production – FDY, DTY, and POY processes
- Textured Yarns and Microfibers
- High-speed spinning applications
Physical & Performance Data
Key Features & Benefits
- Deep Jet Black tone with superior gloss and opacity
- Perfect pigment dispersion due to liquid solvent-based pigment system
- No filter clogging or pigment agglomeration during melt spinning
- Excellent thermal and light stability
- High color consistency even at high-speed spinning (up to 6000 m/min)
- No migration or blooming on final products
- Compatible with all polyester spinning systems (FDY, DTY, POY, and staple fibers)
Processing Guidelines
- Drying: Dry masterbatch at 120°C for 4 hours before use.
- Dosage: Add 0.8–2% depending on desired shade and opacity.
- Mixing: Mix uniformly with virgin PET chips before feeding into extruder.
- Processing Temperature: 270–295°C for best melt flow and color uniformity.
Packaging & Storage
- Supplied in 25 kg multilayer bags with inner PE liner.
- Store in a dry, cool place (below 40°C) away from direct sunlight.
- Reseal bags tightly after use to avoid moisture absorption.
Technical Highlights
- Compatible with melt spinning, microfiber production, and textured yarn processes.
- Solvent pigment technology ensures improved gloss, black depth, and dispersibility compared to traditional carbon black systems.
- Custom shades and formulations are available upon request (e.g., matte black, super jet black).
